I started tutoring in 2016 and have been helping countless students through their GCSEs and A Levels ever since. Many of my students have received top grades in their GCSEs and A-Levels and have gone on to study medicine, dentistry and other competitive courses at university, which is incredibly rewarding.
In addition to private tutoring, I create educational TikTok videos to make learning fun and engaging. I specialise in the Sciences and Maths, and I also teach in schools and colleges.
In 2021, I decided to start researching and writing predicted papers after years of successfully predicting topics and questions during my tutoring sessions. Over the past couple of years, I've created phenomenal predicted papers, and now, with the collaboration of Joe and Carl, I know this year’s set will be the best yet.

After leaving school, I began an apprenticeship that didn’t quite suit me. Seeking a better fit, I secured a job at my former high school. When lockdown hit, I found myself immersed in teaching, taking on a full timetable of my own science classes. It was a challenging experience which I absolutely loved.
During lockdown, I also began building my social media presence as Mr. Wells, creating fun and engaging content to help my students stay on track. My following has gradually grown over the years. Eager to become my own boss, in 2021 I launched my own tuition business.
Ignito Tuition has flourished, allowing me to leave my day job and gain the freedom to focus on new projects. This year, I am excited to dedicate my efforts to producing what will be the best set of predicted papers available, collaborating with the fantastic team of Kriss and Carl.

I am an experienced teacher of science and chemistry with over thirty years in the field. I have held several senior positions, including head of A-Level Chemistry, second in department, and head of department in various 11-18 schools, mainly in Norfolk. I have a proven track record of helping my students achieve high levels of attainment, with many going on to pursue medical careers.
I am also a very experienced tutor and examiner at all levels. In recent years, I served as a principal examiner and writer for GCSE chemistry. I was part of the team that developed the current examination system, transitioning from the modular to the current linear exam structure.
